Search ads for dealers

Your search ads follow your lot, not last month's plan

adLoop builds a text ad campaign for every model you sell, in a Google Ads account of its own, and switches each one on or off from today's inventory and the market. A model you have sold out of stops advertising the same day. A model that is scarce in your market gets the priority. The campaigns you already run are never touched.

  • Runs in its own Google Ads account with its own budget, so your existing accounts keep running smoothly
  • Reads your live inventory every day, down to model, trim and year
  • Uses market exit data to decide which models deserve the spend
  • Every click lands on that model's inventory page on your site; if we have none for a model, on your home page
  • No ad runs until that page has been proven to answer
  • Every change is logged with the reason, before and after it happens
  • Shadow mode first: see every decision for weeks before one is applied

The thresholds are proposals, set once per dealer. A pause for zero stock is never delayed; an enable can wait for a second day's read.

How it works

  1. We read your lot

Every day adLoop reads your website's inventory: each vehicle's make, model, year, trim and whether it is new or used. In-transit units are not counted as stock.

  2. We read the market

For each model, marketTurn supplies how fast that model leaves dealers' online listings in your market, and how your own units compare.

  3. The rules decide

Each ad group is enabled or paused from your stock, and given a priority from the market. Every decision carries its reason codes.

  4. You approve, then it applies

In shadow mode you only see the decisions. In preview mode campaigns are created paused in adLoop's account for your store. In live mode the switches are applied.

The two signals

One signal says whether to advertise a model at all. The other says how much it deserves relative to your other models. Neither touches the campaigns you already run.

Your inventory decides on or off

0 unitsPaused at once. You never pay for a click on a vehicle you cannot sell.
1 unitKeeps whatever it was doing. One unit is not enough to turn a group on, and not reason enough to turn it off.
2 or moreEnabled. A model that comes back into stock gets its ad group back the next day.

The lines are per dealer. A high-volume store might enable at 3 and pause at 1.

The market decides priority

scarceLow day supply in your market: shoppers will search for it and find few. High priority.
slow moverYour units of a model sit longer than the market's. The ad's job is to move your aged stock. High priority.
oversuppliedHigh day supply everywhere. Low priority, unless it is also your slow mover.
unknownNo market figure for the model yet. The market changes nothing; your inventory still decides on or off.

Priority is a label on the decision. It says where the budget in adLoop's own account should go, inside the cap you set.

Aggregate market exit data derived from publicly listed dealer inventory. Counts and rates describe vehicles that left dealers' online listings. They are not sales, transaction or demand data.

What adLoop touches, and what it never does

Written by adLoop, in its own account for your store

  • Search campaigns named adLoop | New Honda, one per condition and make, so its work is always recognisable
  • One ad group per model, with keywords in phrase and exact match
  • One responsive search ad per group, from inventory facts only
  • A landing page for each ad: your search results page for that model, new or used. A model with no such page, or a page that has not been proven to answer, gets no ad
  • Campaign negative keywords (parts, repair, jobs, rental and the like)
  • A budget for each campaign, inside the monthly cap you set
  • The enabled or paused status of its own campaigns and ad groups

Never touched

  • Any Google Ads account you or your agency already run: never linked, never read, never changed
  • Anything in adLoop's account that adLoop did not create
  • A budget above the cap you agreed
  • Prices in ad copy, unless you decide to allow them
  • Anything at all, in shadow mode

You decide how far it goes

Every dealer account starts off and moves up one step at a time, on your say-so.

Shadow

adLoop reads your lot and the market every day and logs every decision it would make. Nothing is written to Google Ads. Watch it for as long as you like.

Preview

The campaigns, ad groups, keywords and ads are created in adLoop's account for your store, every one paused. Review them in Google Ads itself. Still nothing serves.

Live

The daily switches are applied: groups enabled and paused from your stock. Spend stays inside the cap you set, and your other accounts run exactly as before.

Getting set up

Your inventory

If your website is already read by our inventory service, there is nothing to do. Otherwise we add your domain to it first.

A separate Google Ads account

adLoop does not ask for access to the account you already have. It keeps an account of its own for your store, with its own budget, so nothing it does can disturb the campaigns you or your agency run. Google lets one ad per website into each auction, so the two accounts do not bid against each other.

That account does not exist yet. It is the next milestone, nothing is written until it does, and the one-ad-per-website point is confirmed against Google's current rules first.

Promises we build in

A reason for everything

Every decision is logged with the stock count, the market figures and the rule that fired, before it is applied.

Nothing you have not approved

Shadow, then preview, then live. Each step is your call, per dealer.

Your other advertising is left alone

adLoop has no access to the accounts you already run, and it never spends above the cap you set in its own.

The right page, every click

A shopper who searches for a CR-V lands on your CR-V inventory. If we have no inventory page for a model, the ad lands on your home page. If we cannot prove the page it lands on answers, the ad does not run.

Honest about the market

Market figures describe vehicles leaving online listings, never sales. When there is no figure, we say so and do nothing with it.

Honest results

We do not promise clicks, leads or sales. We promise that your ads match your lot.

Pricing

To be set

A licence per dealer website, as a flat fee. The ad budget in adLoop's account is capped by you, and adLoop charges no percentage of it.

Questions

Will this lower our cost per lead?

We cannot promise that. What we can show is that no ad ran for a model you had none of, and which models got the priority. The reporting is in adLoop's account, which you can open.

Can we keep our existing campaigns?

Yes. adLoop runs in a separate account and has no access to yours, so your campaigns keep running exactly as they are.

Will two accounts bid against each other?

Google lets one ad per website into each auction, so the two accounts do not raise each other's prices. When both could show, Google picks one, so some impressions may move between the accounts. We confirm this against Google's current rules before your account goes live.

Where does a click land?

On your own search results page for that model and condition, in the address form your website platform uses. We already keep those addresses for each site. For a model with no such page, the ad lands on your home page. An ad whose page we cannot prove answers stays paused.

What happens when a model sells out at 4pm?

The next daily read pauses its ad group. Today that is once a day; faster reads are a later decision.

What if the inventory read fails?

Nothing changes. A missing read is never treated as an empty lot.

Does it work for used vehicles?

Yes. New and used get separate campaigns, and a used ad group runs on the same stock rules.
